The festive season is almost upon us and North and South Wheatley WI are busy preparing for their stupendous Christmas party on Monday 9th December. Members and guests will be treated to an hilarious evening of entertainment, followed by a scrumptious buffet of Christmas treats and a surprise visitor too! The fun starts at 7.15pm in South Wheatley Village Hall, Sturton Road, South Wheatley DN22 9DL.
After everyone has recovered from the December fun and frolics, there will be a fantastic start to the new year with the welcome return of guest speaker, and very entertaining, Janet Stain — aka ‘The Knicker Lady’. Her subject this time is ‘Ladies Secrets!’. Go along on Monday 13th January at 7.15pm and find out what they are! Guest attendance costs £5.00 per meeting. If you are going alone and would like a ‘buddy’, just let them know and they’ll arrange it.
