Saturday Coffee Morning
The Saturday Coffee Morning is unique as you can book a date to run the coffee morning for your favourite charity. Contact Barbara Wilson on 01777 710834.
Thursday lunches, 12.00pm to 2.00pm
The Grove is renowned for its homemade Thursday lunches. It is very much a social event so it’s a great opportunity for making new friends. Just turn up at 12.00pm. Starts on the first Thursday in September.
A Listening Place, Saturday 24th September, 2.30pm to 3.30pm
This is a new venture to befriend and help people through a bereavement or loss. The church provides a comfortable space to talk and meet people in similar situations or for you to just relax and enjoy a cup of tea and a delicious piece of cake amongst people that care.
Heritage Day, Saturday 10th September, 10.00am to 4.00pm
A chance to look around this magnificent building and recently restored ceiling. Delicious refreshments, and organ recital (11.00am to 12.00pm), organised tours around the church and various stalls.
Ride and Stride, Saturday 10th September
A national sponsored cycle and walking event from church to church which will be using the Grove as one of its stations on Heritage Day.
Harvest Festival, Sunday 25th September, 10.30am
A service which will explore and give thanks for all God’s gifts from wind and wave power to the skills of our scientists to produce vaccinations against viruses, to the skill of our farmers to produce what we need in climate warming and far more.
West Gallery Singers, Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October
