Worksop Folk Dance Group will be starting their new season of dancing on Tuesday 8th September, 2.00pm to 4.00pm, at Theivesdale Lane community centre which is now ready for action again. If you have ever enjoyed a ceilidh, are a lapsed dancer, or just want a new hobby, please join them.
All the dances are walked through without the music, then when everyone is happy and confident with the dance, they put the music on and the beauty of music and movement comes to life.
The group follow an eclectic mix of dances from early English (1700) to modern English and American dances, but all following the same basic principle.
