Parkrun has announced its relaunch on Saturday 5th June, with 13 parkruns taking place in Lincolnshire. Find out more at one of their local events:

What is parkrun?
It is a free, weekly, community-led, 5km (5000m) – walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. Everyone participates in parkrun for their own enjoyment. This isn’t a running race. Everyone is welcome.

Where is it?
There are 13 parkruns and a further two junior parkruns across Lincolnshire. Click on the parkrun UK website and find your nearest local event.
What is the course like?
The 5km (5,000m) parkrun courses will vary across the county so do check your local parkrun website / Facebook page for more information.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing – it’s absolutely free! But please register online before you participate. You only ever need to register once with parkrun. Your barcode is universal. Just don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode on the day. No barcode, no time.
Getting there
Please, wherever possible, they encourage you to walk, jog, cycle or use public transport when attending your local parkrun. COVID-19 secure measures are still present at this time, so please avoid car-sharing.
