Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners’ 44th Annual Show takes place on Saturday 5th September at Kirton in Lindsey Town Hall, and organisers are encouraging more people to enter exhibits in the wide range of classes on offer. The show is not just for gardeners, with something to suit a variety of interests.
Classes include vegetables, fruit, flowers, pot plants, floral art, wine making, preserves, baking, children’s classes, photography, art and crafts.
The photography section features four themed classes: Hidden Places, Layers, Riot of Colours and Light Through the Clouds. How each theme is interpreted is entirely up to the photographer.
Show schedules, containing full details of the classes and how to enter, are now available. While many classes remain the same each year, others change to provide variety.
The show is open to everyone, so exhibitors do not need to be club members to enter. The public is welcome to view the exhibits from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
