The following events are scheduled at Gainsborough Old Hall during September:
- Friday 4th September – Board Game Club, 10.00am to 12.00pm. The free club is open to everyone who would like to join in with board games.
- Thursday 10th September – Stone Carving Workshop, 6.00pm to 8.30pm. English Heritage members can book this workshop, led by a professional stoneworker.
- Saturday 12th September – WordFest. Free Illuminated Letter Workshops will run from 10.00am to 1.00pm and must be booked. Helen Hagon will present Lincolnshire: Home of Poets from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, followed by a talk and readings with Paul Sutherland from 3.00pm to 4.00pm.
- Sunday 20th September – Heritage Open Days. Gainsborough Old Hall will be open free of charge from 10.00am to 5.00pm, with last entry at 3.15pm. Activities will include tile-making workshops, talks and tours.
- Friday 25th September – An Evening of Music, 6.00pm to 7.45pm. This is an English Heritage members’ event.
- Sunday 27th September – Classic Cars. Lincs and Louth Motor Club returns to the Old Hall with an array of classic cars. The event is free, but normal admission charges apply for entry to the Hall.
