Winthrop Gardens is delighted to be taking its collaboration with The Bay Tree to a new level with the introduction of Greek Cookery Experiences.
Following the popularity of the Greek Supper Nights, these sessions will offer an opportunity to learn more about how Max produces his delicious food. Four events will take place during October and November:
- Sunday 18th October and Monday 19th October, 9.30am to 1.30pm – £60.00 per person
- Sunday 15th November and Monday 16th November, 9.30am to 1.30pm – £60.00 per person
Art exhibition
Winthrop Gardens has built a great relationship with Ravenfield Art Group, which will return with another of its popular art exhibitions from Tuesday 27th October to Thursday 12th November – just in time for a spot of Christmas shopping.
Festive events
A full programme of festive events is planned, including:
- Wreath making – Monday 30th November, Tuesday 1st December and Thursday 3rd December, 10.00am to 2.00pm, £35.00 per person.
- Table-centre making –Monday 30th November, Tuesday 1st December and Thursday 3rd December, 12.30pm to 3.00pm ,£25.00 per person.
- Festive flowers demonstration followed by afternoon tea – Tuesday 8th December, 1.30pm, £22.50 per person.
- Festive afternoon teas – Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th December, 1.30pm, £20.00 per person.

Winthrop Memory Café
The Winthrop Memory Café is held on the first and third Friday of each month and now has vacancies for people living with dementia and their carers from the local community. The welcoming and friendly group offers plenty of activities, conversation and fun. Visiting Winthrop Gardens
Winthrop Gardens and Tea Rooms is at Second Lane, Wickersley, S66 1EE.
Regular opening hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30am to 3.00pm during winter and until 4.00pm during summer. Indoor, sheltered outdoor and fully outdoor seating is available, and customers with dogs are welcome.
