Clarborough and District WI’s new year started with an interesting talk from Mr Roy Evans on the Laycock Family of Wiseton. There was also lots of business to catch up from the previous festive season.
12th February sees the group welcome Chris Abbott, with his talk ‘The Lighter Side of Veterinary Nursing’.
On 11th March the group is looking forward to a visit from ‘The Hat Lady’ Yvonne Henson, who will give tips on the correct way to wear a hat and advice on headgear for important occasions.
Meetings are held in The Halford Room at the Village Hall in Clarborough at 2.00pm. It’s a small and friendly group, welcoming to visitors. A charge of £5.00 applies which includes a raffle ticket and refreshments.
