The next meeting of the Wheatley Family Research Group will take place at 2.00pm on Wednesday 9th February at the Village Hall in South Wheatley. This is a ‘self-help’ group of family researchers getting together to do some investigations into their own family history while helping others who have reached an impasse. Just go along and see how they can help you with your family research. Wi-Fi internet access is available for all.

In order to cover the costs of hiring the room there is a fee of £10.00 to cover a set of three meetings – 9th February, 9th March and 13th April.

The next meeting of the Local History Group will take place at 10.00am on Monday 17th January at the Village Hall in South Wheatley. The speaker at this meeting will be Jane Price, with a talk entitled ‘A Funny Kind of Coffee Shop’ – more thought-provoking stories based on her experiences as a vicar’s wife in Balby.

Admission to this meeting will be free of charge, so this is a good opportunity for anyone to go along to see what the group has to offer.
