The 30th West Lindsey Churches Festival takes place on the weekends of 9th and 10th and 16th and 17th May, supporting the many churches and chapels across the stunning Lincolnshire countryside and rural villages that make up the vibrant landscape.
And this year there is a record 119 churches and chapels taking part, with newcomers joining the event from outside of West Lindsey’s borders including North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, and East Lindsey.
Many of these churches are still the focal point of the villages they sit in, and will provide you with an insight into the history and life of their parishes. Others offer a vibrant collection of stained glass, architecture, carvings, and artefacts. Festival-goers will also find plenty of places offering homemade cakes and lunches, along with plant stalls, book stalls and even organs available to play!
