Town Hall Live

by | 15 August 2021 | Gainsborough, Music

With the lifting of restrictions, Town Hall Live are in a position to re-start concerts indoors at the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, Kirton-in-Lindsey from August.
The first concert is planned for Friday 27th August, when they welcome Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes from Melbourne, Australia. As with all artists, the coronavirus pandemic disrupted their plans for 2020. Over the previous four years they had built up a solid following in the UK, appearing at several festivals. You can pin a multitude of labels on Lachlan’s music and not be far off the mark. Take a pick from rock n roll, alternative country or any other contemporary roots cliché. The most important thing is that Lachlan writes great story telling songs and delivers them with sincerity and panache. Their live performances are brilliant.
Support will come from York singer-songwriter Dan Webster, who always goes down well with THL audiences.
Advanced tickets are priced at £14.00 and can be obtained from the Londis store in the Town, from Brian on 01652 649230 or brianchudley@btinternet.com or www.wegottickets.com.
The Lachlan Bryan concert is the first of seven concerts lined up for the autumn. The others are: Friday 17th September – Hannah White and the Nordic Connections, Friday 8th October – Ross Wilson aka Blue Rose Code, Friday 29th October – Elles Bailey, Saturday 20th November – Gary Stewart’s Graceland, Saturday 11th December – Lauren Housley, Thursday 23rd December – Wilson and Wakeman.
