Town Hall Live

by | 22 June 2025 | Gainsborough, Music

Town Hall Live, Kirton-in-Lindsey, has no concerts scheduled for June but has a fantastic summer of music lined up for July and August. Highlights include:

Saturday 5th July – Boo Hewardine and Yvonne Lyon

Boo and Yvonne are two of the UK’s foremost songwriters. In 2023, they collaborated on the duo album Things Found in Books, a collection of songs inspired by letters, photos, receipts and postcards discovered in a second-hand bookshop. The album reimagines the stories behind those forgotten items, resulting in a nostalgic and beautiful body of work full of hope and longing. Their appearance in Kirton will be the second date of a 17-date UK tour. Support will come from Songs of the Folk from North Carolina. Tickets are priced at £16.00.

Saturday 19th July – The Town Hall Live Garden Festival at ‘Saxonhurst’, East Cross Street, Kirton, DN21 4EA

This outdoor event will feature Holly Taymar, Plumhall and Danny Bradley.
Holly Taymar presents her ‘Sings Eva Cassidy’ set, capturing the timeless beauty of one of the most beloved voices of the 20th century.

Plumhall are an acclaimed songwriting duo known for captivating harmonies and acoustic musicianship.

Danny Bradley, a one-man orchestra, has recently supported Fairport Convention and Richard Thompson. His fingerstyle guitar playing is a masterclass, complemented by an exceptional voice.

This is a bring-your-own chairs, food and drink event – perfect for a relaxing summer day of music in a beautiful setting. Tickets are £21.00.

Friday 8th August – Julian Taylor

Julian Taylor returns with his all-female UK band ahead of their appearance at this year’s Magpie Festival in Yorkshire. Hailing from Canada, Julian is known for his smooth, warm, emotional voice that excels across a range of musical styles. Tickets are £18.00.

Friday 22nd August – Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes

Lachlan Bryan and The Wildes come from Melbourne, Australia. Lachlan’s music defies easy categorisation – rock’n’roll, folk, alternative country or roots – but what stands out are his poignant, insightful and heartfelt lyrics. Tickets are £16.00.
