Town Hall Live, Kirton-in-Lindsey, has two concerts scheduled for May:
Friday 16th May
The Hunch
The Hunch, from Wakefield, are five musicians at the top of their game, honed by years on the road. They perform intriguingly crafted classic folk, blues, soul and popular songs with five-part harmonies, instrumental virtuosity and a generous dash of humour between numbers.
The band members are Mick Doonan, Bob Thomas, Chris Hanks, Tony Bacon and Marcus Frost. Mick stamps his own vocal style on many songs and plays uilleann pipes, flute and piccolo. Bob adds percussion and harmonica to lead vocals, whilst Chris plays acoustic guitar and Tony plays keyboards and accordion. Marcus is the newest member, bringing his unique percussion style and vocals to the group.
Over the past two years, they have performed at many prestigious festivals, including Moonbeams, Whitby Folk, Costa Del Folk and Shrewsbury. In 2025, they will play at Warwick and Southwell Festivals, among others.
Their repertoire spans artists as varied as Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana, Joan Osborne and Coldplay. A concert from The Hunch always offers ready wit, relaxed rapport and ensures the evening goes with a swing and a smile.

The Black Feathers
The Black Feathers are Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler. Their pure emotion and subtle timing are matched by the joy radiating from their onstage chemistry.
Their Americana, folk and indie rock sensibilities blend seamlessly. Ray’s guitar supports the rich harmonies more often heard in family bands, while Sian brings poetic lyrics and a mesmeric quality to their performances. Their easy-going humour and spontaneous stage banter leave audiences smiling.
The duo has been performing together since 2011. They released their debut album in 2015 and have since recorded four more. Their Town Hall Live concert is one of many UK dates to promote their latest album, due for release at the end of May.
