Town Hall Live (THL) in Kirton has two concerts in April and one in May, plus look forward to an outdoor Garden Concert in June.
Friday 12th April – Sara Petite
Sara hails from San Diego, California and is a force of nature. She is gritty, she is wild, she is tender with the soul of a child. She will be accompanied by her UK band – Joe Coombs on lead guitar, Scott Warman on bass and Jamie Dawson on drums.
Live, Sara fills the stage with her personality and drive. Her band is one of the most dynamic on the circuit and in Joe Coombs have one of the best lead guitarists around. Tickets are priced at £15.00.
Friday 26th April – Alice Howe with Freebo
Bringing together a rising voice in Americana and a venerable rock and blues icon.
To hear Alice Howe sing is to be enraptured by the natural, unaffected beauty of her voice. There is no artifice, no histrionics, just authentic singing in the tradition of the roots music that has shaped her. Freebo is best known for his decade of touring with Bonnie Raitt, will also play the support slot. Tickets cost £15.00.
Friday 17th May – The Paperboys
From Canada, The Paperboys’ return to the UK has been long-awaited; they rank up there with the best acts to have played Town Hall Live. The five-piece band play a freewheeling blend of rock and roots music with hints of Celtic and Mexican influences, courtesy of their lead singer Tom Lands. They are a must-see act. Tickets are priced at £16.00.
Saturday 22nd June – Garden Concert
THL presents an outdoor Garden Concert in the Town. Headlining will be renowned Canadian singer songwriter Tara MacLean, whilst rising UK star Joe Martin will kick the afternoon off. He will be accompanied by guitarist Tom Dibb.
Tickets for this afternoon event are priced at £17.00. Bring your own chairs, food and drink, relax and enjoy the music.
