Springthorpe Village Hall prides itself on bringing high quality, professional live music to the rural community.
In 2018 they had a visit from the wonderful Dan McKinnon, who hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The concert was such a success that Dan was booked for a return visit during his tour in March 2020.
As the world went into lockdown, he had to head back to Canada in a great hurry. A reschedule for his next tour in 2021 was ruined by a second lockdown. Springthorpe has waited five years for Dan’s eagerly awaited return on Sunday 17th September!
As well as being an excellent songwriter, singer and guitarist, Dan is an engaging raconteur – so a varied and entertaining evening is guaranteed.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm and admission will be £10.00. Tickets can be booked from mandsd@yahoo.com. Please bring your own alcoholic drinks and nibbles.
