Christmas can be a wonderful time when family and friends get together, but it can also be a sad or difficult time if we have lost a loved one, find ourselves unemployed or, for whatever reason, are facing a difficult future. We can then feel that although we want to remember the birth of Jesus Christ we would like to do so quietly and in a gentle way.
If this applies to you, or if you just prefer to celebrate the birth of Christ in a quiet way, then please do consider joining them for one of their quiet Christmas services.
During December, the Advent Window Trail will again be happening around Gainsborough and Morton. This time the theme will be Christmas Carols. Full details of the route of the trail will be posted on the Team Parish of Gainsborough and Morton’s Facebook page. And, of course, there will be a competition for you to enter.
