The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s 30th anniversary season of indoor meetings continues on Tuesday 23rd January at 7.30pm in the Town Hall, the talk will be ‘North Lincolnshire Bronze Age Boats’. Kevin Leahy, a regular and favourite speaker, will be showing how early humans travelled on our waterways around Lincolnshire and further afield.
The Society’s Annual Meal is on Sunday 28th January (12.00pm to eat at 12.30pm) at Hemswell Court restaurant — a wonderful venue in the former Officer’s Mess at RAF Hemswell. Future talk topics include: Lincolnshire Old Farming Year; Early Christianity in North Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire Chairs.
