The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s indoor meetings continue on Tuesday 25th June at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
This month the talk will be ‘The Face in the Leaves – in search of the Green Man’. It will see a return visit by Jean Townsend giving an illustrated presentation on this fascinating topic with examples from Lincolnshire and area.

The group then looks forward to an outing to The Ropewalk in August (booking required) and, also in August, there will be a Market Place Historical Panorama.

The new season of indoor talks start on Tuesday 24th September with illustrated presentation ‘The Duckerings – A Cricket dynasty and Pig breeders extraordinaire!’ – a story told by descendant of this important Kirton family, John Purcell.
