The Kirton in Lindsey Society wishes all readers a Happy New Year. Its season of indoor meetings continues on Tuesday 24th January at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
The talk this time will see the welcome return of Dr Kevin Leahy to give the intriguingly titled presentation ‘Beneath the Sand’. Looking at the Middle Anglo-Saxon site at Flixborough, he will explain and uncover the mysteries of these important archaeological excavations in North Lincolnshire.
Future talks include ‘The Lincolnshire Dukes’, ‘Cistercians in Lincolnshire’ and ‘Why Are There No Green Stars?’.
