The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s season of activities continues with two events in September.
As part of the national Heritage Open Days, the Society will be hosting two free guided walks and visits titled From Prison to Pillar of the Community. Both start at 1.30pm and take place on Saturday 13th and Thursday 18th September. Booking is required. More information can be found at tinyurl.com/3yzf3asn.
On Tuesday 23rd September, the new season of talks begins with the Society AGM followed by an illustrated talk, ‘All for the Benefit of Us!! – Guilds and Pigs to Ivy Leaf and Hotspurs. Martin Hollingsworth will explore the many groups, associations, and societies that have existed in Kirton over time.
