Following the sell-out Halloween Ghost Stories event at Café Walton with author and historian Darron Childs, a special Christmas date has been announced for Tuesday 2nd December, starting at 6.30pm.
At this intimate event, Darron will explore the possible meanings and historical background behind his spooky tales, sharing the real stories of local people who witnessed the events that inspired The Delvers Blue Plaques. Guests will have the opportunity to interact throughout the evening as strange but true stories, researched by The Delvers local history group over many years, are brought vividly to life.
This one-night-only, Christmas-themed event will focus on local riverside ghost stories – a fabulous way to start the festive season.
Café Walton is a cosy and popular riverside venue offering a range of delicious coffees, cakes and snacks. Tickets are limited and available via Eventbrite, with further information also available on The Delvers online community and the Gainsborough Memories Facebook pages.
