There will be a light-hearted talk and display on the subject of the tyranny of period costume at St Thomas of Canterbury Church Hall, Cross Street, Gainsborough, on Tuesday 28th October from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.
Entitled ‘Corsets and Crinolines’, the event will offer an entertaining insight into the tyranny of fashion, with plenty to see and enjoy.
Tickets cost £5.00, which includes tea, coffee, cake and entry into a raffle. They are available from Aegir Electronics, 39–41 Lea Road, Gainsborough, and Gainsborough Kitchens, 1–3 Spital Terrace, Gainsborough.
