St Barnabas Hospice

by | 12 March 2023 | Gainsborough, Local Charity

The staff at St Barnabas Hospice would like to offer a massive thank you to those who so generously help and support them in many ways. They are incredibly grateful for any help from the community.

Thanks to over 60 schools and educational settings across Lincolnshire who participated in Rudy’s Run! Children got active and had an immense amount of fun whilst raising vital funds for the Hospice. The current amount raised is over £15,000 and still counting. Incredible.

Do you dare to walk over fire for St Barnabas Hospice?

Daredevils can take on a glowing-hot challenge to support St Barnabas Hospice and participate in the charity’s second-ever Fire Walk.

This is a great way to challenge yourself and raise money for the Hospice. It makes a really fun gift as well, or as a teambuilding exercise for staff at your workplace.

Once registered, organisers kindly ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £100.

A LEGO Walk is also available for people of all ages including children over the age of five (parental guidance needed for under 18s).

For information or to register for either Walk, visit www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk/events.

Calling all knitters!

Could you help? The Hospice needs knitted easter chicks and bunnies etc to fit on an egg to sell over the Easter period to raise funds for the Hospice. This is a great way to help and get together with fellow knitters all for a great cause. The charity are also looking for donations of Cadbury’s Crème Eggs for their Easter fundraiser.

For more information on any of the above, contact fundraising officer Deborah Yarwood on 07785 127114 or 01522 540300.
