On Friday 26th and Saturday 27th April at Gainsborough Methodist Church, North Street, Gainsborough, you can spend two days enjoying a creative atmosphere with other people who love to sew as much as you do!
This time is dedicated to sewing, creating, sharing and enjoying freedom from the routine of daily life. Although not posh, the location has been chosen for proximity (three minutes on foot) to sewing shops, places to stay, places to eat and a long-stay carpark.
Bring a project with you (along with your machine and favourite tools). Lucy Picksley, Sewing Pattern Design and Sewing Teacher, will be on hand to support, give sewing advice and share her wealth of experience and enthusiasm. Lucy’s patterns will also be available to buy on the day.
Time will also be made available over the two days to visit the local fabric shop. On the second day, you can meet Featherweight Phil who will demonstrate vintage sewing machines and delve into their history.
The two-day Sew Together event costs £110 per person (including tea, coffee and homemade cakes).
