It will be tinsel down and curtains up at the first concert of 2025 for The Scunthorpe and North Lincolnshire Concert Society, when they welcome enigmatic pianist Patrick Hemmerlé.
Refusing to follow musical traditional conventions, Patrick has forged a unique path in the musical world which leaves him free to immerse himself with singular dedication into the repertoire and musical expression resonating with his most profound convictions. The results are interpretations of startling insight and originality. French-born, trained at the Conservatoire de Paris under Billy Eidi, and laureate of many international piano competitions, he now lives in Cambridge, England, where he has built up a loyal following. He performs all over the world and recent engagements have taken him to New York, Berlin, Paris, Vienna, Prague and China. The programme will include pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Bach and Mendelssohn.
See Patrick Hemmerlé on Friday 10th January at 7.30pm. Single tickets cost just £18. 00. Or, for real value for money, an annual membership subscription is £90.00 for seven concerts. Children attend free with an accompanying adult. The venue is Outwood Academy Foxhills, Foxhills Road, Scunthorpe DN15 8LJ. Interval refreshments and raffle tickets are available to purchase.
