At St Peter’s Church in Scotter, we are to hold a Poppy Prom, at 7.30pm on Friday 9th November. This is to commemorate the end of the First World War and it will feature Scunthorpe Concert Band and the Eau Valley Singers. Tickets for the event are £7.00 each, which will include light refreshments. Tickets are available from Janet Goude on 01724 763825. The event is to raise funds for the Royal British Legion and Help the Heroes.
