Fireworks Extravaganza
Saturday, 2nd November, gates open at 5.00pm, fireworks start at approximately 7.40pm
Rotary’s annual extravaganza is back at The Venue at Roses North Warren Road, Gainsborough DN21 2TU. There will be food and trade stalls for browsing and starting the Christmas shopping early. They promise lots of familiar faces and vendors you know and love! This year, they’re turning up the heat! In addition to their epic fireworks display, they’ve got stilt performers and fire breathers to keep you entertained, courtesy of Bella Blaze Productions. For over 40 years, this event has been a highlight of the Gainsborough calendar—don’t miss out on the best display around! Tickets cost: children (under 16) £4.50 (Early bird) or £5.00 on the gate and adults £6.50 (Early bird) or £7.00 on the gate. Under fives are free! Early bird discounts available until 30th October. Wreath making workshop
Thursday 5th December, 6.30pm arrival for a 7.00pm start
This takes place at The Village Hall, School Lane, Springthorpe, DN21 5QD and costs £35.00 per person. All materials and tuition are included – you just need to bring a pair of scissors / secateurs. Festive refreshments included (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, soft drinks and mince pies / stollen and cake). Indoor Festive Market
Sunday 24th November, 12.00pm to 5.00pm
Head to The Blues Club, North Street for a variety of stalls selling gifts, handmade items etc. this is an opportunity to get ahead on the Christmas shopping. Festive food and entertainment to be announced soon. Free entry. Free activities for children.
