Parish of Gainsborough and Morton church services during the current lockdown

by | 3 February 2021 | Community facility, Gainsborough

Although churches are allowed to open for communal worship during the current lockdown, in view of the possible risks to the congregation and to all involved in ensuring the service can go ahead, it has been decided that there will be no physical services at either St Paul’s Church Morton or All Saints Church Gainsborough until mid February at the earliest.
Instead, the Reverend Steve will conduct an online service via Zoom at 10.30am each Sunday and alternate the venue between St Paul’s and All Saints.
There will be no mid-week Holy Communion from All Saints but they plan to conduct Morning Prayer via Zoom.
All Saints will be open for private prayer on Saturday mornings between 10.00am and 12.00pm and the Feeding Gainsborough food table will also be present. St Paul’s will not be open for private prayer for the immediate future.
The churches greatly value all the support which they have received over these recent months and hope that they will see you on Zoom, and when they are able to resume physical services that you will be able to join them.
Joining details and orders of service will be available on their webpage, www.achurchnearyou.com/church/14761, or by emailing allsaintsgainsborough@mail.com or calling 07395 942778.
