Gainsborough and District Macmillan Cancer Support are excited to announce that they will be holding an Open Garden event at Hall Farm Garden at Harpwell, Gainsborough on 15th July. Pam and Mark Tatam have once again agreed to open their house and gardens to all and by charging an entrance fee to look around their fabulous gardens, they are helping us raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

All you need to do is turn up on 15th July and pay the £4.00 entrance fee. You can then wander the stunning gardens, meadow, woodland walk, parterre and end the tour at the house where you will encounter the Macmillan volunteers. They will (for a small fee of course) provide you with lashings of tea and coffee and the famous Macmillan cakes. These are legendary and worth the visit on their own (should the weather be slightly inclement). Of course, you could visit the refreshments first and get your strength up for the walk around the garden, this would give you a wonderful excuse to visit again at the end of your visit as you will undoubtedly have worked up quite a thirst by the end!

Opening times on 15th July are 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Pam and Mark Tatam will be on hand during the afternoon for the green fingered, to answer any questions you may have and to give tips and advice where they can. Please come along and visit a truly wonderful garden. In doing so you will be helping raise money for Macmillan to be used in this area by those affected by cancer.
