North Notts Lions golf for D.A.R.E.

On Wednesday 15th August, North Notts Lions Club held its annual Golf Day at Gainsborough Golf Club. The Club is indebted to Ping Europe for allowing us to use the facilities and providing a magnificent golf bag as a prize for the best gross score. Additional thanks go to the ground staff, pro shop, officials and the golfers for all their help. Guy Crosskill at Crosskill’s Trophy Shop provided the prizes and engraving. The day would not be the success it always is, without the backing of all our sponsors, whom we thank most sincerely

Despite a relatively low turnout, in excess of £500 was raised, to support the Club’s on-going commitment to D.A.R.E. in nine of our local primary schools. This programme provides drug and alcohol education and helps young people to lead safe and healthy lives and achieve their potential.
