There is a new sports programme launching in Scotter and for surrounding village locations, aiming to provide local children with something new and exciting in their area. Lincs Lightning will teach pom dance, cheerleading, tumble and stunts and they will also run an additional needs group. This programme is run by a qualified coach, aiming to bring this sport to as many people as possible and provide the local community with a high energy fun atmosphere. The programme’s training currently takes place at the EAU centre, Scotter.
The club are available to teach out of school clubs, birthday parties with a twist and also team building events. Cheerleading is growing as a sport and has been granted a provisional Olympic status by the International Olympic Committee. The programme aims to deliver confidence boosting, promote health and wellbeing. This is suitable for all ages with no maximum age limit.
