Mums and Dads of Lincolnshire, is a Facebook information page which informs local parents/carers of events throughout the county. Local mum Kirsty Collinson initially started up the page to make people aware of the facilities that were available in and around Gainsborough, for families with children under five. She says: “When I became a mum for the first time I did not know what groups I could take my child to, to help him socialise with other children. I have since come across lots of events, groups and businesses that provide excellent facilities for families within Gainsborough and I would like other parents to get behind local businesses and use the facilities that are here.”
The upcoming event ‘Mums and Dads of Lincolnshire Expo’, is where local businesses, family friendly facilities, and parents can all come along and meet each other, with the intention of parents finding out what facilities are available and businesses are able to meet the audience that they are aiming towards.
Places are available for businesses and groups to showcase what they have on offer to the general public, who perhaps do not fully know what services you offer. Would you be interested in holding a stall and promoting your excellent facilities to local parents/carers/members of the public? Then please get in touch.
The event has been provisionally planned to take place at X Church on Wednesday 24th October, at 10.00am to 2.00pm. Tables will be provided, there is a cafe should you require refreshments. The first 100 people through the door will get a goodie bag full of leaflets (provided by each stall holder) with information about each business.
