Spring has sprung, and another busy season is ahead at Morton Village Hall.
On Saturday 12th April, the hall will host the next Quiz with Pie and Peas. Tickets are £7.00 and can be booked via Lucille on 07801 750682. Guests are encouraged to bring their own nibbles, drinks, and pens.
The hall continues to host a wide range of groups, from Cubs to crafts and bowls to line dancing. Information on all regular groups is available on the noticeboard in the hall foyer.
Morton Ladies is a friendly group of women of all ages who meet on the last Thursday of every month. Evenings always begin with a sociable catch-up over a cuppa and cake, with members taking turns to host. The rest of the evening features a varied programme of activities and speakers, finishing at around 9.00pm.
On Thursday 24th April, Darron Childs from local history research group The Delvers will be giving a talk to the group. Membership fees from January to December are £42.00, but guests are welcome to attend a meeting for £3.50. Anyone interested in trying Morton Ladies is welcome to attend a meeting at 7.15pm.
Morton Feastival – Disco Night
Plans are well underway for this year’s Feastival in July, but fundraising is still needed to provide another wonderful free day out for the Morton community.
The next event is on Saturday 19th April – a super disco! So if you like music, especially the younger Morton residents, do go along for a great night out with your friends. Bring your own drinks and nibbles.
