There are several events to look forward to in Morton Village Hall before the end of this year, so put them in your diary!

Quiz Night – Saturday 11th November, 7.00pm

The price remains at £7.00 per person, to include the pie and pea supper. If you don’t want food, the cost is £3.00. Remember to bring your own drinks and nibbles, and some change for the raffle.

Please contact Lucille on 07801 750682 as soon as possible to make sure you get a table; it’s a popular evening and gets booked up quickly.

Table Top Sale – Sunday 12th November, 2.00pm to 4.00pm

Have a browse and find a bargain! And stop for a cuppa and a homemade cake. Proceeds from the sale will go towards next year’s Morton Feastival to be held in July. If you would like to book a table, please contact Tracey on 07787 581896.

Christmas Craft Fair – Sunday 3rd December

A Craft Fair will be held in aid of the Scouts, who are trying to raise money for a campsite and build on their camping equipment to give the best experience possible for their young people of the local area.

There will be lots of talented and creative stall holders from across the area with amazing crafts and gifts to buy with a huge variety of products.

Just in time for Christmas so do call in to buy those last-minute Christmas gifts, and support your local scout troop!

Crib Service – Sunday 10th December, 4.00pm

The annual Dedication of the Crib service. It would be lovely if children could attend this community service, along with parents of course! Refreshments provided so do join for a cuppa and a mince pie.

Badapple Touring Theatre Show – Saturday 30th December, 3.30pm.

A welcome return from Badapple with a seasonal performance, Farmer Scrooge’s Christmas Carol, an original adaptation from the Charles Dickens story. Go along and have a good chuckle while the blustering, skin-flint farmer Ebeneezer Scrooge gets his comeuppance and is forced to see the error of his penny-pinching ways.

Full of local stories and carols, puppets and mayhem, and original songs, enjoy a festive family treat from this excellent theatre group, and go home with a smile on your face!

Tickets: Adults – £10.00; Over 60s – £8.00; Children – £6.00; Family (2+2) – £25.00. To book please contact 07565 718250 or 07523 382696.
