The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s season of indoor meetings continues on Tuesday 23rd May at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
A new speaker will be welcomed, Michelle Beadle, with an illustrated talk titled ‘Flight of Disaster – Story of the R38 Airship’. Michelle will relate the facts and details of this accident over the River Humber in 1921.
June talk is ‘A Pictorial Journey from Lincoln to Gainsborough’ and will be given by Chris Hewis.

St Andrew’s United Church is open during the West Lindsey Churches Festival weekend of 13th / 14th May. As well as displays on the theme ‘King and Kingdom’, there will be materials from Lincolnshire Archives and The Kirton in Lindsey Society archives, tower tours, organ recitals, a ‘Royal’ quiz and children’s trail and craft activities relating to ‘King and Kingdom’.
