In Marton village, bowling enthusiasts are getting ready to play lawn bowls again.
Why not consider joining in this April-to-September season? Everybody is welcome, male or female, young or older, new players, ex-players and established players. The club would love to see you and help you become another regular player!
Bowls is a very sociable game, a great way to keep fit, make new friends, have fun and be outdoors in the fresh Lincolnshire air.
There are regular sessions for new starters, with coaching from established players, and weekly ‘roll-ups’ for others who want to improve their game play. The club also plays competitive league games in the Gainsborough area and arranges social events, friendlies and club competitions during the season.
Marton Bowls is a small, friendly, sociable club run by the members, who maintain their own green and clubhouse, located in Trent Park Road, near Marton Church and Village Hall.
