The Women’s Institute is there to inspire women from all walks of life. You can be adventurous; you can be bold and the Women’s Institute will make it beautiful. As well as doing good for local charities, the Women’s Institute do all sorts of exciting things. They go gliding, they go crafting and they go dining. And they bake the best cakes so follow in their footsteps to Jerusalem and beyond!
You can meet the ladies at The Lea Park 50th Anniversary Festival, DN21 5JE, taking place on Saturday 9th September from 12.00pm until 5.00pm. Stop by their table in the festival tent where you can learn all about the different opportunities on offer. The ladies meet the first Thursday of every month at Lea Village Hall.
