The next coffee mornings at Lea Village Hall, Rectory Lane, Lea, DN21 5JA will be held on Friday 3rd October and Friday 7th November.

Visitors can enjoy tea or coffee with either a bacon butty or a slice of homemade cake for £3.00. Coffee mornings run from 10.30am to 12.00pm and everyone is welcome. At the October coffee morning, Alison will be displaying her handmade greetings cards.

There is also a free book swap, with a wide selection of titles available. The events provide a chance to meet new people, catch up with friends or simply enjoy coffee and cake in a warm and welcoming space. Coffee mornings are held on the first Friday of each month.

On Saturday 27th September, A Salt ‘n’ Battery mobile fish and chip van will be at the hall, serving from 4.30pm to 7.30pm. Tables will be set up in the hall for families and friends to enjoy their food together, with tea, coffee and cakes also available to buy inside. Visitors are welcome to bring their own drinks.

Medium Joe will appear at the hall on Saturday 18th October. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Tickets cost £10.00 and can be reserved by calling Sophie on 07917 350612. Lea Village Hall is also available for private hire, with facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, making it suitable for birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations.
