The Kirton in Lindsey Society season of talks continues on the evening of Tuesday 26th November.
The talk this time is ‘Ancient Uses and Folklore of Fungi’, an illustrated talk given by Vicky Buckberry. Vicky will discuss how they were used in the past and some of the stories linked to them.
All meetings commence at 7.30pm in the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, High Street, Kirton in Lindsey DN21 4LZ. The entrance fee is normally £1.00 including refreshments for members and £3.00 for non-members, except for special meetings.
The Kirton in Lindsey Society welcomes anyone with an interest in the North Lindsey area: its history and environment. Meetings, outings and social activities are arranged throughout the year.
