The Kirton in Lindsey Society’s season of indoor meetings continues on Tuesday 27th February at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
Dr Erik Grigg will give an illustrated talk on how the ‘fearsome’ Vikings shaped Lincolnshire. He will examine the evidence and look at their legacy in the county.
Future talks include: Appreciating Lincolnshire; Buildings around the Brayford Pool in Lincoln; and The Duckerings – A Cricket dynasty and Pig breeders extraordinaire.
