All regular activities in the Town Hall are settling back down to some semblance of normality. A few require booking but, for most, you can just turn up and join in. In addition, the Hall is very excited about its offering of special events in April and May – book early to avoid disappointment!

Tudor Minstrels: An evening of Tudor music, song and merriment with de Mowbray’s Musicke
Saturday 9th April, 7.00pm to 9.30pm
de Mowbray’s Musicke are Lincolnshire’s premier Tudor and Medieval costumed group. They play Medieval and Renaissance music on period instruments, sing and teach and display dances of that time. They will be playing many different woodwind and stringed instruments of the Tudor period, as well as singing songs and showcasing some dances. Spring Barn Dance
Saturday 23rd April, 7.30pm to 10.30pm
Dancing is back! The Stepping Stones Ceilidh Band are returning for another great night of music, dancing and fun. No experience necessary. If you’ve never ‘Stripped the Willow’, then you haven’t lived! There will be a pie and pea supper (or vegetarian / vegan alternative), a bar and a raffle. Summer Concert by the Singing for Pleasure Choir
Wednesday 4th May, 7.30pm to 9.30pm
The Singing for Pleasure Choir returns for another evening of music, song and readings. This Waddingham-based choir has made the Town Hall its performance home and it’s always a good night. They perform an eclectic mix of music from Medieval to Modern, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Friday 6th May, 7.30pm to 9.30pm
The Kirton in Lindsey Entertainment Organisation (KLEO) is bringing a bit of Shakespeare to the town, supported by North Lincolnshire’s Rural Touring scheme LIVELINCS. The Out of Chaos theatre company is putting on their production of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream – reimagined in their own fast, furious and fantastically funny style. Two actors play all the parts! Music, magic and laughter guaranteed. Tickets cost £8.00 (£6.00 concession), available from Martin on 01652 648435 or at Londis in Market Place.
