Local Craft Market: Sunday 6th March and Sunday 6th April, 9.30am to 12.30pm (Jo: 07752 246255). This is an initiative by local small businesses to raise their profile and offer a range of goods all in one place.
Beginners Macramé Workshop: Sunday 27th March, 1.00pm to 4.00pm (Jo: 07752 246255). This workshop will leave you with the basic skills to make a pot holder or a lantern and you’ll learn a basic selection of knots along the way. These knots form the basis of many macramé items and can be utilised in all manner of objects. Cost £25.00.
Tudor Minstrels: An evening of Tudor music, song and merriment with de Mowbray’s Musicke: Saturday 9th April 7.00pm to 9.30pm (Mary: 01652 648435). de Mowbray’s Musicke are Lincolnshire’s premier Tudor and Medieval costumed group. They play Medieval and Renaissance music on period instruments, sing and teach and display dances of that time. They will be playing many different woodwind and stringed instruments of the Tudor period, as well as singing songs and showcasing some dances. A rare treat to hear this outstanding local group performing in their own area. Tickets cost £10.00.
