The Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) 2024 season of meetings continues on Wednesday 17th April an evening visit to Broughton Woods. Members will meet at 5.45pm in the Market Place in Kirton (to enable car sharing as parking space is limited at the woods). The visit will last one-and-a-half to two hours and Caroline Jackson will be leading a Foraging Walk and Talk in these local woodlands.
Go along and find out how to tell your Alexanders from your Cow Parsley and your Garlic Mustard from your Wild Garlic.
At each meeting, competitions are held for members. This month it will be a Woodland photo.
Coming up, Saturday 11th May is the Annual Plant Stall in the Market Place, from 9.00am to 11.00am. You’ll find bedding plants, vegetable plants and much more. Bring along any spare plants to help raise funds for the club and find that missing gem of a plant for your garden.
