On Saturday 10th May, Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) host their Annual Plant Stall in the Market Place from 9.00am to 11.00am. There will be bedding plants, vegetable plants and much more. Take along any spare plants to help raise funds for the club and find that missing gem of a plant for your garden.
The KLAGs 2025 season of meetings continues on Wednesday 21st May at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
Doug Stewart, local radio gardening expert, professional horticulturist and plant enthusiast, will give an illustrated presentation titled ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’. He takes a personal look behind the scenes at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
For over 20 years Doug worked at a leading land-based college as Head of Horticulture, and for the last 15 years he has been working as a horticultural business consultant, speaker and trainer.
Doug is the co-presenter of The Great Outdoors, a two-hour gardening phone in on BBC Radio Humberside. He has been to the Chelsea Flower Show and many others; looking for ideas and that rare plant few others have got.
