The next Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) meeting is on Wednesday 20th April at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey.
This month it will be a talk and demonstration about flower arranging intriguingly titled ‘Botanical Engineering’, given by Caroline Jackson. She is an artist and professional flower arranger from Barrow-upon-Humber.
At each meeting monthly competitions are held for members; this month it will be ‘Three Cut Tulips’.
May sees the start outings and garden visits including: a trip to RHS Harlow Carr Gardens in May; a visit to Brightwater Gardens at Saxby in June; and ‘Visit My Garden’ at 1 North Cliff Road.
On Saturday 7th May there is the club’s yearly ‘Bring and Buy’ Plant Stall in the Market Place (9.00am to 11.00am). Go along and have a look – you may find the plants that you have just been looking for!
