Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners

The Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs) 2024 season of meetings starts on Wednesday 21st February at 7.30pm, in the Town Hall, Market Place, Kirton in Lindsey with Ben Britton guest presenting ‘Coir Compost and Soil Blocking’.

Go along and find out about this peat-free compost alternative and an intriguing way to save on plastic use in the garden. Peat-based compost for use in our gardens is to be banned from the end of this year so now is the time to consider alternatives.

At each meeting monthly competitions are held for members; this month it will be A Bunch of Snowdrops.

12th Daffodil Show

The Daffodil Show makes a welcome return on Saturday 6th April, 9.30am to 12.30pm in the Town Hall. More details next issue. It will again coincide with the monthly ‘Cupcakes and Coffee’ morning run by St Andrew’s United Church.

Two more advance dates for your diaries: morning of Saturday 11th May is the yearly Plant Stall and Annual Show on Saturday 7th September.
