Kirton gardeners exhibition

Sadly, the Kirton in Lindsey Amateur Gardeners (KLAGs), are not holding their Annual Show this year due the difficulties imposed by the current situation. However, they are putting on an exhibition on Saturday 4th September in the Town Hall.
It will be a display of horticultural and crafting skills by you, the growers and crafters of Kirton, that would normally be entering their produce and work in the Annual Show. It does not include culinary classes due to entries possibly being out overnight and there could not be any tasting or sampling.
Entrants can book a table (large or small) and put out a display of items that they have grown or made. To give some guidance and a list of what can be displayed, a schedule booklet has been produced and is available at the contact details below.
Setting up will be between 5.00pm and 9.00pm on Friday 3rd September and between 8.00am and 12.00pm on the Saturday morning. You must book a setting up time.
The displays will be judged by public vote and prizes of National Garden Centre vouchers for first, second and third places will be awarded. Winners to be notified after the show.
Tables will be available for £5.00 for a small table (1,200mm x 600mm; 4ft x 2ft) and £10.00 for a large table (1,800mm x 750mm; 6ft x 2½ft). Large tables can be shared by two people booking together.
It will be open to the public from 12.00pm to 4.00pm. Bookings of tables will be on a first come basis. So please think about entering but if you can’t please go along and have a look at the displays.
