This Christmas, Gainsborough Salvation Army will be receiving referrals from Social Services, local children’s agencies and schools to make sure that every local child trapped in poverty has brand new presents to open on Christmas Day.
Starting in November, Major Colin Bradshaw and his amazing team of volunteers will start fundraising to buy brand new toys and Christmas hamper food for over 500 children, but they need your help.
Money (cheques payable to ‘The Salvation Army’) can be dropped off or mailed to Gainsborough Salvation Army, Beaumont Street, Gainsborough DN21 2ER.
Their church is open to receive brand new toys or food on Mondays and Fridays from 9.00am to 1.00pm and on Sundays from 9.30am to 12.00pm. All donations will need to be received by Sunday 8th December.
Together, we can make Christmas special for local children in poverty.
