There is still time to donate to the Gainsborough Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal. Working with social services, local children’s agencies and schools, they aim to make sure every local child trapped in poverty has a Christmas Day.
They are aiming to raise enough money or toys to support over 400 local children. Brand new toys can be dropped off at Gainsborough Salvation Army every Monday or Friday from 9.00am to 1.00pm or on Sundays between 9.30am and 12.00pm. Cash or cheques (made payable to The Salvation Army) can be posted to The Salvation Army, Beaumont Street, Gainsborough DN21 2ER.
The Toy Appeal is run by volunteers, so every penny donated is used for toys. They need all donations by Sunday 14th December please.
