Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society are once again taking a musical journey through some of the most well known and loved musicals, old and new.

Over two weekends in September, come along and join the society for a good old sing song! Classics from musicals such as My Fair Lady, Miss Saigon, Wicked, Matilda, Chariots of Fire, along with many many more — there is something for all ages. Members can’t wait to see you all and hear you all sing along with them, the louder the better. Concerts take place on:

  • Friday 1st September at 7.30pm — St Peter and St Pauls Church, Gringley on the Hill DN10 4RF. Tickets £6 and available on the door.
  • Saturday 2nd September at 7.30pm — Lea Village Hall, DN21 5JA. Tickets £5 and available on the door.
  • Friday 8th September at 7.30pm — St Mary’s Church, Stow LN1 2DE. Tickets £6 and available on the door.
  • Saturday 9th September at 7.00pm — St Pauls Church, Morton DN21 3AD. Tickets £6 and available on the door

Pantomime
Join Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society this December for pantomime fun with Dick Whittington and his Cat; the story of a young lad who heads out into the world to seek his fortune accompanied by Tommy his amazing rat-catching cat. Are the streets of London really paved with gold? Is the path to a happy ending as easy as Dick and Tommy think?
A whirlwind adventure for all the family, this show has got it all — action and adventure, secrets and songs, dancing, trickery, romance, shipwrecks and more! Follow Dick, Tommy and the new friends they meet as they journey from London to Morocco on their quest to defeat the evil King Rat.

Running from 6th to 10th December at The Trinity Arts Centre, tickets are available to book now from the Box Office or Barnes Jewellers.
